Yellowbird Coffee Bar is a new coffee shop in St. Paul that will be opening summer 2019 and I had the pleasure of working with them to create their visual brand. After we first met, I felt an instant connection to their vision and was so excited to help bring it to life.

The Yellowbird brand was created with a very specific goal in mind; to convey connection and a warm inviting feel. The focus on community and connectedness was at the forefront of the design process and it dictated every design decision. The inviting softness of the script, paired with the strong sans serif was very intentional as the mission of Yellowbird is create a space where friends, family and neighbors can come to feel a comfy easy-going vibe, while still having a feeling of strength and stability.
